Xiang Jichun, relying on his memory, drew numerous landscapes of his hometown town and personally recorded the stories of those places. From ferries, wells, inns, watchtowers and other aspects, he depicted the world of a young boy in a town on the eve of liberation. Based on his paintings and recordings, artist Feng Meiting developed a series of video stories using A! technology. These stories attracted the old neighbors of the hometown town, the descendants of the old neighbors, and people who had moved to various places due to economic development to gather in the comment section once again. Some people left messages: Old classmate, are you okay? Your brother was my classmate; this house belonged to my grandfather. That is to say, this video series, like the vanished streets and teahouses of the hometown, has attracted tens of thousands of people.
